Falling-film evaporator

Improve is proud to announce the acquisition of a new falling-film evaporator GEA. Designed for a 40 L/H evaporating flow rate, it is the perfect device for food matrices low temperature concentration. The vacuum concentration allows to concentrate sensible products while preserving molecules of interest (proteins, polyphenols,…).


That technology is dedicated to several applications. Before drying and in order to reduce processing costs, the vacuum concentration allows to eliminate high amount of water on diluted products. Falling-film evaporators are also applied to stabilized products by reducing water activity to stop enzymatic or microbial activity.
